WHAT IS TEFL?

TEFL is an acronym and refers to (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) to
students with a different first language. Accredited TEFL Courses must be 120 hours
and can be completed either online or in class. Extensive courses can run for as little
as six weeks and online courses can usually be completed within 1-3 months
depending on the pace of the student.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TEFL / TESOL?

There is absolutely no difference between these two certifications. The only
difference between them is the acronym as each has a different meaning. TEFL
(Teaching English as a Foreign Language), TESOL (Teaching English as a Second
Language). Both certifications are equivalent and accepted by schools and language
centres around the world, as long as they are accredited by a CPD organization
(Continuous Professional Development or any other Global Awarding Body. Upon
completion of the course don’t forget to update your CV with this extra qualification
as many organizations are now requesting for certificates along with teaching
experience you can get teaching on online teaching platforms.
